Gaon Connection, Animall app come together to inform dairy farmers in Rajasthan about animal diseases, increasing incomes

A collaboration between Gaon Connection and Animall - an online cattle trading platform raised an awareness campaign aimed at informing animal rearers in Rajasthan to take measures to increase their incomes and protect their animals against common diseases.

A magic show was also organised to spread awareness about animal husbandry for the participating animal rearers.

From suggesting measures to increase milk production to warning the animal rearers against infectious diseases, an event was organised by Gaon Connection and Animall on the outskirts of Jaipur on July 26, July 29, August 1 and August 3.

In the ‘Pashu Chaupaal’ gathering attended by as many as 120 animal rearers at Bassi block, Tarun Sharma, the sales leader of the Bengaluru-based Animall start-up informed the farmers about the mobile phone application that is an easy to use platform for buying and selling of cattle.

“We, at Animall, provide a wide network of professional and potential buyers and sellers of cattle that can be availed for getting greater number of options when it comes to cattle trade,” Sharma told the gathering at the Govindgarh block of Jaipur.

Addressing the dairy farmers in the gathering, the village head of Jaipura Jagdish Prasad Nitharwal said, “Animal husbandry is a lucrative business for farmers and it aids them in their agricultural output. It is important for farmers to be expert animal rearers in order to get better incomes”.

“Animall is the only application in India of its kind. It provides you the details of the animal sellers and buyers within a 100 kilometre radius and you can easily contact them and negotiate the prices,” he added.

At Govindgarh town, Ram Jeevan Chadhary, a dairy farmer stated that the biggest challenge for dairy farmers is the trading of cattle and providing medical attention in case they get infected with some disease.

The Animall app was launched in 2019 and is the pioneering start-up that provides consulancy service and hassle-free cattle trade in India.

Apart from being a sales platform, the animal rearers can also avail counselling services for their animals on the Animall app. Veterinary doctors are readily available for consultation about the animals’ health.

Also, Dinesh Saini, the additional animal physician from Jaipur’s Bassi block informed the farmers in Achlapur about the infectious diseases that are common in the rainy season such as mastitis, scrape and foot and mouth disease in cows and buffaloes.
