Barabanki district hospital in UP gets a COVID ward

On May 6, Gaon Connection reported on the absence and the dysfunctional condition of ventilators in some of the district hospitals in Uttar Pradesh. A week after the report, Barabanki, Mirzapur and Allahabad districts in the state have initiated procurement of ventilators, technicians to operate them, and oxygen concentrators for their health facilities.
